Alan Tomlinson, TV’s late Director of Original Programming was the consummate storyteller, an astute observer of the human condition for whom sincere concern for the disadvantaged, the vulnerable and a hatred for injustice and unnecessary suffering was at the heart of his work.
An award-winning journalist and television producer whose career includes newspapers, broadcasting in both radio and television, as well as documentary filmmaking, Tomlinson produced, directed and partially edited “Boca Raton: The Secret Weapon That Won WWII” before his untimely death in November 2016. To stay true to Alan’s vision, his wife, Francesca de Onis who was co-producer on the film, finished the project as a tribute to his legacy as a filmmaker.
